Cheyenne getting kisses after giving daddy his present.
We had a great Father's Day. Cheyenne and I got up yesterday morning and made daddy breakfast in bed. Then we gave him his card and present. We made a video of pictures with music to it. He really liked it! We went to church and then to mom and dad's for the day. We played in the pool and had a cookout afterward. Well, I got about 20 minutes in the pool. It was too hot and sunny for Cheyenne to be out. We mostly sat at the table outside under the umbrella, but William did take her for a little while so I could get it. Just another example of how life changes after baby. Can't just do what you want to do anymore, gotta do what's best for baby. After the sun started going down a little, around 5:30, we dipped Cheyenne in for a minute. She did really good throughout the day and napped in the crib at mom and dad's.
On another note, I've been pretty confident that Cheyenne hs been teething. My suspicions were confirmed this morning when I felt her bottom gums and there is a sharp point there. I looked and you can see the top of a tooth. I figure in the next day or 2 it/they will be fully out. I don't know if she's just getting 1 of the bottom or 2. Soon as they pop through I'll post pictures! I'll be glad when this is over. Teething is tough business!

Oh teething...Many sleepless nights over that process. And it lasts for 2 years!! They come in pairs, so you'll be seeing the second within days of the first. Have plenty of Baby Orajel on hand!
