Happy Halloween!

Tonight, William painted my belly as a pumpkin. I think he did a good job considering that this was his first time attempting such a task. This Saturday will make 27 weeks. Only 13 weeks left! We can't wait for her to get here. We start childbirth class next Wednesday. I'm really excited about that, though I think William has mixed emotions. I think he's afraid of what he'll learn! Better in class, then in the delivery room! There's a lot coming up in the next couple of months. There's Thanksgiving and mom and my sisters are giving me a baby shower Dec. 2. I'm really excited about that! Then Christmas and Cheyenne will be here sometime the end of January/early February! It's going to go by fast! Happy Halloween from our little pumpkin!

25 Weeks and 12 lbs later....

Last night William and I went to Babies R Us and got one of those things that you're supposed to be able to hear your baby's heartbeat, kicks, hiccups, etc. We were able to hear the kicks since she was going crazy in there. She usually does at night. No heartbeat yet though. It says its for use starting in the 3rd trimester. I'm still a couple of weeks away, so we'll keep trying. The other pic is of Loki on my belly. He's is so protective of me and he's really showing here! I wonder if he'll be the same way with Cheyenne.... The 3rd pic is my 25 week pic. I can't believe how big my belly is getting. It's like it's happened overnight. Only 15 more weeks to go!

Painting the Nursery

Wednesday William and I painted the nursery. The color is called lavender whisper. We love it! Also here is the crib that William put together and the crib set that I bought to go on it. I can't wait until Cheyenne is here. I'm going shopping tomorrow for some pictures or something to put up on the walls. Is it Feb 2 yet????

"Babymoon"

Here are a few pictures from our "Babymoon." We decided that we wanted to take one last trip as a "couple" before Cheyenne comes. We had so much fun! We took a cruise on the Carnival Valor and visited Nassau, Bahamas, St. Thomas, V.I, and St. Maarten, F.W.I. They were all beautiful! It was really hot and humid though. We tried to stay near water when possible. I was a little uncomfortable being 5 1/2 months pregnant...especially the plane ride. But I'm really glad we did this. I plan on staying at home with Cheyenne so we're going to be taking a financial cut and going to have to change a few things. We figure the next vacation we'll take is to Disney World in 5-7 years. So this was good for us. We're glad to be home though. We had a little problem when we got back into Raleigh at the airport. Apparently we had left the GPS unit plugged in and it killed the battery so we had to call roadside assistance and waited an hour to get on the road. We finally got home around 6:30 last night.
Besides that I am now 22 weeks along. It's going by really fast.
