PigTails and Poppa's Picture

Hailey was unccoperative in my attempt to get the girls in their church dresses this morning. I managed to get a shot of Cheyenne's cute braided pig tails. I saw a picture Jen did of Emma's and thought it was cute and showed it to Cheyenne and she wanted hers done too! I even put a little ribbon in it too. After church today we had our 4th Sunday luncheon. Mom wears this locket that dad gave her and it has a picture of him in it. Whenever she wears it Chey always wants to open it and look at poppa. She climbed on mom's lap after we were done eating and asked to look it while they exchanged butterfly kisses. It was the sweetest thing and I just love what this photo captured.

Park Days

I'm loving the change in the weather lately. We've been able to get outside longer than 10 minutes before we freeze! Last week I took the girls to the park at Bur mil. They had a blast. Cheyenne took this first picture. Maybe I have a little photographer in the making??

Valentine's Day

Grandma Katherine sent William home yesterday with a small Valentine's gift for the girls. They each got a small stuffed animal with some candy hearts. They loved it! Thanks Grandma!

Daddy sent mommy some chocolate covered strawberries. I shared with the girls. Here they are enjoying one of them!

Yum!

Circus

I decided to take the girls to the circus. I really wanted Cheyenne to experience it and I thought she and William could have "daddy-daughter night" or something. But William's been working just about every night and I didn't have a sitter for Hailey. There is 1 morning showing they do they entire time the Circus is in town and it starts at 10:40. So I decided I would brave it and take them both myself. They did GREAT! I was really nervous about Hailey because she does not like to sit still. I just got 2 seats so Hailey sat on my lap the entire time. She did so good! I packed lunch and their cups and we ate during intermission. They also shared a little cotton candy, which made a sticky mess. Glad I brought the wipes! This was 1 time I actually came prepared for anything! It's a big joke that I'm never prepared. Never have a change of clothes for the girls "just in case" or anything I should probably have in the diaper bag. I just always forget to refill in when I use something out of it. But I did this time! We did leave about 10 minutes early. It was 1:00 and the show wasn't over and Hailey usually naps at 12:30. She had turned herself around and layed on my chest and was tired. Plus I wanted to beat the rush of people when it was over, so we went ahead. I could not have asked for a better experience with them. Don't get me wrong. It was hard. My legs fell asleep with Hailey sitting on them and there is so little room to move and Chey was up and down in her seat but all things I expected. So glad I didn't regret this!

Super Heros Cheyenne and Hailey!

The girls "super hero capes" finally came! I ordered them before Christmas but I guess the shop was a little backed up. They absolutely love them! They put them on and pretend they're flying. It's so fun to watch. I got them from Pip and Bean on http://www.etsy.com/ They are great!
