Last night Cheyenne and I went to the Greensboro Grasshoppers game. William's been working all weekend on a big project at work so he wasn't able to come. Our family friend, John, hosted a party there for his company, ARC Electric, and invited us all to go. We had burgers, hot dogs, chicken, beans, etc. It was really good! Our friends Tripp and Heather went with us too. Here's a few pictures from the game. We had a great time!

Emma was born this morning via ceserean. Jenny and her are doing just fine. William, Cheyenne and I went to visit them this afternoon. They'll get to come home Monday. She weighed 8 lbs! Jen will kill me if I put a picture of her on here so for now this is all you get. I'm sure she'll have good pictures posted on her blog next week. Check out the Newnam Family link.

Riding Toy/Crawling

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I started classes again last week and they are keeping me pretty busy!

Lately I have been browsing craiglist for some toys for Chey. I've found a few good ones! I found an activity walker that she can stand behind and learn to walk with. She can't use this yet...but I imagine in the next couple of months we'll be getting it out. Today I went and picked up this riding toy.

Chey is also trying to pull up on everything. This little activity center she tries to pull up on sometimes. I think this is her favorite toy right now.

Chey is trying to crawl too. She hasn't quite figured it out yet. It sure it funny watching her try.

Treasure at yard sale!

I stopped at a couple of yard sales on my way to the grocery store this morning and I found this. I've quickly learned that you don't need to buy all brand new things... they outgrow stuff so quick and toys are so expensive! I got this for $4. I think it sells for close to $30 at the store. I didn't think Chey was quite old enough for it yet, but she would be soon. I decided to try her out in it. She loved it! She was giggling and holding on to the steering wheel like she was driving! I think this is going to keep her busy for a while!

Beach Trip

We're back from our week-long beach trip. It went really well. Cheyenne was an angel. She loved the pool and ocean. Here are lots of pics from our trip.

National Lampoon's Beach Vacation

We've been joking that this is National Lampoon's Beach Vaction. Today is day 4 of our beach trip with mom, dad, Katie and Victoria. It's been interesting to say the least. So far, we've had 2 broken beach tents, 2 broken beach chairs, a leaky ceiling from the washing machine and William got stung by a jellyfish today. Oh and apparently there's a new law that you can't leave tents up on the beach overnight (which we usually do) and we didn't know about it. We got up Monday morning and our tents were gone! We had to go to the fire department to get them back. Cheyenne screamed for an hour on the ride down as well. I think she was just really tired. But since we've been here, Cheyenne has been wonderful! We get up and do breakfast, play for a little while and she takes her 1st nap. Then we go to the beach and pool for a while, come in do lunch and then have a 2nd nap. Then it's back out to the beach and pool. She loves it! She's having so much fun. William actually took her out in the ocean for a minute, before he got stung that is. He just dipped her in and out. I couldn't have asked for her to be any better than she's being. It's definetly not relaxing, but we're having a good time. I'll post lots of pictures when we get back.

Drums!

Cheyenne is starting to get bored with the little toys that she has. So I got out a tupperware bowl and a spoon and let her have at it. She knew to play drums! She's so smart. Here's some video
