Easter 2011

We had a great Easter! The Easter bunny visited the girls and brought them the movie "Tangled" and "Beauty and the Beast." They also got a new bathing suit, a chocolate bunny and some jelly beans and a wiggle worm water sprinkler! We spent the morning at Grandma Katherine's. She made a great brunch! We had ham, a breakfast before casserole, fruit and muffins. They girls had a little egg hunt in the front yard in their Easter dresses Katherine got them. SO cute! After Hailey napped we went to mom and dad's so the girls could hunt eggs with Emma and Ryleigh. They also played in the sprinkler the girls got. They have so much fun together... Nanny came up to visit as well and we had dinner. Nothing better than spending holidays, and everyday with your family. Chey showing up "Tangled" Finally we can stop watching Cinderalla over and over and over and over....

One makes a face and the other has a finger in her nose.... really girls??

Cheyenne LOVES holding Babs, one of Katherine's dogs.

Finding eggs with mama

One in the tree!

Blowing bubbles with Uncle Miles. Cheyenne told Miles that he would look like her daddy if he colored his hair. LOL She made the connection that they looked alike and I tried to explain to her that they were brothers, like she and Hailey were sisters... not sure if she got it.

Carolina Beach-Just me and my girls

I wanted to do something fun for the girls during their spring break from preschool. I had planned on taking them to the beach by myself for a couple of days since William needed to stay here and work. Well Chey and Hailey both got a little stomach bug that kept my changing diapers and Chey staying in the bathroom constantly... but Wednesday afternoon they were doing a little better so I though we would go ahead and try to go. They both have been fine since. They had a blast at the beach. I believe Cheyenne would have stayed out there all day if I would let her. Hailey wasn't as enthusiastic as Chey about it. After a while she walked up towards the hotel and I had to bring her back. She kept saying "go back." She wanted to swim! They had an indoor pool in our building and Hailey was like a little fish. She kept wanting to jump in while I caught her.
The trip was a little challenging for me, but they had a great time and we made some memories, just me and my girls.

Morning at the Bog Garden

I took the girls this morning to the Bog Garden to feed the duck with some bread we had that had gone stale. I don't think we've ever done this with them before... they were just giddy! They LOVED throwing pieces of bread to them. Chey would even hold a piece and let the ducks and geese eat it right out of her hand. It was a great morning.

Snapped this on the way out of a dogwood. Just loved the composition...

Easter Eggs

After church Sunday while Hailey napped, William helped Cheyenne dye Easter eggs. Although Chey wanted to do it all by herself and didn't want any help. She is becoming soooo independent. She did really good though!

Palm Sunday

Sunday the girls participated in the service at church. They walked in as little "bible children" with my dad who played Jesus walking into Jerusalem. They did so good. Alot better than I thought. THey got all the way to the front of the church and then Hailey turned around and saw all those people and ran back to my crying. I was so proud of them. We snapped a few of the girls in their Easter dresses that Grandma Katherine got them in Flordia. Easter Sunday we'll spend with Katherine at her house so they wore them to church this Sunday and they'll get to wear them again next Sunday.

The Girls

All but 1 are of Cheyenne because Hailey simply wouldn't have it. I got 1 shot before she literally just started crying and whining and I had to hold her on my lap. So enjoy some of Cheyenne!
