Yes its true...I, well WE have been super busy! First,
Images by Autumn is doing very well! I have been have photoshoots just about every weekend and even shot my cousin's Sheena's wedding this Saturday. That was a VERY long day. I started at 1:45 and left the church at 10:00. My feet were killing me by the end of the night. I had so much fun though. I had a few people tell me what I good job I was doing, making the guests feel comfortable and not in people's faces constantly. 2 people even said I looked "right in my element." I felt it. That's where I belong, behind the camera. I have another wedding lined for the fall and possibly another next month. Just waiting to hear back from the couple. Thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement!
On a less happy note, both girls are sick. Hailey really actually hasn't been right since we got back from Pawley's Island. But she's been miserable for the last 3-4 days. She can't breathe because she is so snotty and she just cries when she's awake. She went to bed tonite at 6:30 and at 7:10 she was up screaming. It took me until 9:00 to get her to calm down and back to sleep. She's had a fever last night and today. I did take her to the doctor and they said it was just a cold. If she's not doing a little better tomorrow, I'm taking her back. But to a different doctor! Jen and I both use the same pediatrican's office and we're both fed up with them. They are overbooked with patients my doctor is leaving anyway to go back to school. So yesterday I transferred them to another doctor's office. I hope and pray this one is alot better. At least at this new one I can walk in without an appointment and try to get worked in.
William and I went out last night to the Grasshoppers baseball game to celebrate our friend Jason's birthday. A couple of girls in our neighborhood (they're twins) watched Cheyenne and put her to bed (Hailey was already in bed when we left). 5 minutes after we got home Cheyenne woke up crying. She had a fever sure enough. She's been okay today, just snotty and a little scratchy throat but in good spirits. It's so much easier when they're older and can tell you whats wrong!
Cheyenne will have her last day of preschool next week until the fall. I'm looking forward to not having to be at "a certain place at a certain time" but it will be a challenge to keep her occupied all summer! I do have a girl in the neighborhood lined up to come over from 9-11:30 two mornings a week to help out and play with the kids so I can get some things done. Not like it's a break or anything. There is laundry to do, dishes to do, etc.
William's birthday is coming up. Have no idea what I'm doing for him yet. I am taking him to dinner at Fire & Sticks, his favorite place in the whole world. We haven't been literally in MONTHS because we've been on our diet (which was going so well but we've got to get back to it.) I haven't lost any more weight but I'm down another size. I've been doing some weights and resistance training at the gym so I must be toning up. :) Anyway, I'm got a fun post planned for tomorrow if I have time. You won't want to miss it!
